Wine Enthusiast:  Designated as the Editors Choice and rated as Excellent - extremely well made and highly recommended.  "Rich, deep flavors of roasted blackberries, sweet red currants, grilled beef, bacon, pepper and sandalwood in this silky wine. The rich tannins and crisp acidity will play well against a charred steak."  Nov 2009

Winery:   "The dramatically cool and foggy climate of the Sonoma Coast produces a Pinot Noir that is elegant and intensely structured.  The aromas are a blend of strawberry and red cherry with a toasty vanilla spice flavor and lingering finish."

Wired For Wine:  "You will not want to leave the table after your first sip of this mouthwateringly delicious Bearboat Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir. Think lots of courses, winelovers... Kick things off with a sharp Shelburne Two-Year Cheddar (Vermont-made), as that first glass draws you in. This Sonoma Coast Pinot will pair perfectly with lamb tortellini and an olive oil-based sauce with sage and plum tomatoes. As they say at Wine Enthusuast, this Bearboat is made to drink with a grilled steak. We love it with a juicy porterhouse because it has some fat to char. To make it love the wine even more, dress the steak with a zesty black pepper sauce. Fantastic. The toast and sandalwood in the Bearboat will work well with mixed grilled vegetables too. Serve them with grilled, double-cut pork chops drizzled with a rich tomato-bacon sauce and disappear into the delectable tastes.
