Winery:  "Our Stone River Blend is our Classic style, formatted from fruit off of our Cobblestone Estate Vineyards and a pinch of Syrah from Pepper Bridge Vineyard.  The 2005 Stone River shows incredible fruit flavors of smooth berry, plum and pomegranate, with hints of tobacco, spice, minerals and chocolate. This wine has a soft tannin makeup, which creates a very approachable wine that is enjoyable now and over time."

Wired For Wine: This beautiful blend of red has fantastic pairing versatility.  It will do very nicely with beef, steak, duck, lamb, and even grilled salmon.  Our first choice with the Beresan would be lamb chops in a crisp potato crust.  Click here for the recipe.  This dish is such a showstopper; all it needs is a simple salad tossed with some blanched asparagus and the killer vinaigrette of your choice.  Or, how about a grilled salmon filet with a delicious tarragon sauce and some silky mashed potatoes to boot?  What could be better?
