Wired For Wine:  You are not going to want to miss this spectacular white blend, winelovers!!  According to Wine Enthusiast, it is "one of the best values on the market" (#23 out of 100 to be specific), and we couldn't agree more.  Open your first deliciously chilled bottle of Brassfield Estate Serenity White Blend and offer it with our all-time favorite American Dream Roll: shrimp tempura, eel, spicy tuna, and avocado wrapped in soy bean seaweed.  Its clean, crisp nature is ideal opposite the rich tempura and creamy avocado.  If you haven't worked up an appetite yet, this Brassfield is the perfect aperitif on its own.  Moving right along, this complex California white marries well with chicken, seafood and shellfish, salads and many veggies.  It's been a long day at the office, so we're thinking about having it with some serious comfort food: buttermilk fried chicken and silky garlic-mashed potatoes.  Heaven...  Feeling fancy?  Whole wheat penne tossed with asparagus, grape tomatoes and lobster chunks in an olive oil or mild cream sauce will bring out the Serenity's gorgeous acidity.  If you like Thai, the residual sweetness and lovely fruit in this great white seem as though they were made to temper a spicy dish of Pad Thai noodles with jumbo shrimp.  A Thai red curry with lump crabmeat is another, slightly less spicy alternative.  This masterful blend of four white grapes can finish the meal with dessert or cheese.  Our first dessert choice is a fresh mango pudding with whipped cream on top.  If cheese is your choice, the slight tang of a Cabecou de Poitou is just the thing.  All we can say is, at this price, make sure you get enough!!
