Wired For Wine: Also on our holiday shopping list has been a great Pinot Noir value for this season's festivities. We found it! This De Loach Heritage Reserve Pinot Noir is everything we've been looking for and more, at a killer price point, or as Wine Enthusiast's Steve Heimoff put it "one of the best Pinots on the market at this price"... Pour out generous glasses and enjoy them with bite-size pieces of a warm, rustic mushroom/shallot tart.  The gorgeous red fruit, citrus zest, baking spices, and earthy notes of sandalwood and tobacco give this silky Heritage Reserve the ability to pair wonderfully with chicken, duck, salmon, pork and more.  We love this smooth De Loach with roast pork loin and an onion, raisin and garlic compote.  Salmon croquettes with your favorite potato dish on the side is another great option.  And if you're feeling a little fancy, make it seared duck breasts with a honey-ginger glaze. Open the bottle that's been waiting patiently in the wings and serve it with an American Tarentaise cheese.  It's grassy, nutty and buttery, and will just made for this California red. Time to get your Fa La La on winelovers!!
