Today it comes across as a bit monolithic, but that is probably because there is so much sheer stuffing inside. With time in the glass the intense mineral notes release a bit, leaving way for the fruit to show its pedigree and class. The beautifully balanced, crystalline finish augurs well for a bright future. I especially like the way the wine gains breadth and volume with air. This is a marvelous, complete wine. Anticipated maturity: 2014+. Sept 2011

On the nose, fresh aromas of flower and fruit (lemony flavours) and, at times, spicy notes of coriander. On the palate: harmonious aromas bringing character and elegance.
