A forward aroma of lemon custard and lemon zest is backed by a faint lime juice quality. Secondary aromas of apple and pear play off of a perfume-like floral character.  A wisp of roasted nut and a touch of chalk dust “minerality” add complexity. Wired For Wine:  Come along with us winelovers!  The delicious journey we are about to take with the Lynmar Russian River Chardonnay will delight you with its wonderfully balanced flavor, its whisper of toasted nut, the intensely elegant fruit and its soupçon of minerality.  We are perfectly happy to enjoy our first glass by itself.  The complexity and polish of this Chardonnay delivers a terrific aperitif.  Should you be craving an appetizer, we recommend a small sweet corn, bacon and goat cheese custard in a Butter lettuce cup.  De-lish!  The gorgeous array of fruit in the Lynmar will pair nicely with an orzo salad with mango, papaya and smoked chicken breast.  Another  great choice is grilled salmon brochettes with a tangerine-basil butter sauce.  If, however, you choose to play to the touch of roasted nut in this Russian River Chardonnay, we suggest a caramelized leek and Fontina panini.  Talk about made for each other...  We love to wrap up the meal with another generous glass or two served with a nutty Swiss Emmenthaler cheese and some salty Marcona almonds.  All aboard!
