  • Just Wine Points 90
  • Sonoma County Fair Gold Medal
Wine Enthusiast:  Rated as Very good, may offer outstanding value if the price is right.  "One of the best Chardonnays available at this price. Shows welcome restraint in the crisp, clean flavors of pineapples, Meyer lemons, pears and green apples, with just a touch of oak. If you just judge by price, you’ll be amazed how complex and layered it is." Dec 2010

Winery:   "While the refreshing citrus, melon and tropical fruit aromas and flavors predominate, the blend of the stainless steel fermented and barrel fermented Chardonnay adds both fruitforward qualities and complexity. The wine finishes clean, crisp and light. Drink now."

Wired For Wine:   Try this amazing value of a warm-weather sipper.  Pour yourselves generous glasses of this Pedroncelli Dry Creek Chardonnay and dive into a platter of bite-sized lobster cakes.  It might be all you need for the entire meal...  If you are in the mood for more courses, your options are limitless.  The aromatic tropical fruit and citrus, whisper of oak, and crisp, clean nature of this Dry Creek white make it a fantastic pairing with seafood, fish, chicken, veal and more.  A simple, yet delicious choice is veal scallopini with brown butter and capers.  The crispness of this Pedroncelli Chardonnay will balance a dish of scallops in a champagne cream sauce sprinkled with truffle salt beautifully.  And if it's comfort food you're looking for, put together big baskets of oven fried chicken and a bowl of garlic and lemon sauteed spinach and serve them up family style.  Make sure you've got another bottle or two on hand, and open one to go with a French Cabecou Poitou chevre.  Sounds good to us!
