We're gushing about Geyserville's golden anniversary!!

It's rich and full in flavor, brimming with dark jamminess, spicy, earthy, and best of all, sporting beautiful tannins. Look no further than this Ridge Geyserville 50th Anniversary Zinfandel Blend for your grilling and barbecue needs winelovers!! Sweet, tangy and spicy foods alike will all want to cozy up to this delicious red. Pour your first glasses and hand them out to go with beef-n-bacon sliders slathered with a smoky mayo. You might not get much farther than that, but if you're hopeful your diners will leave room for more, we recommend grilled pork sausages with spiced figs. Baby backs cooked your favorite way are a risk-free choice with this Geyserville, as is slow-cooked Texas beer brisket served with pickled okra. If you're feeding a crowd, we say do so with a Dr. Pepper-glazed ham with prunes. It will pull all of the spectacular fruit and spice of the wine together into the most flavorful combination. Then, open another bottle to serve with red wine and star anise-poached pears topped with a mascarpone cream. Time's a-wasting winelovers, get your spring on!!

Winery:  "Ridge has made the Geyserville as a single-site Zinfandel every year since 1966. The grapes are grown in three adjoining vineyards on a de ned stretch of gravelly soil ap- proximately one-and-a-quarter miles long and a half-mile wide.

Saturated ruby color. Intense dark berry fruits, gravel earth, black licorice, mint, and exotic spices. Powerful bramble fruit entry, sensuous, well-defined tannins, great depth of flavor, enjoyable lengthy finish.
