"Maestro is a serious wine with a humble soul. It celebrates both Robert Mondavi’s work and his wisdom." ~ Genevieve Janssens, Director of Winemaking

From the iconic house of Robert Mondavi, we have the second made vintage of the Robert Mondavi Maestro Red Blend. It's got rich, jammy fruit, delicious spice notes in a Napa Cab blend which will most certainly delight. Bring on the meats winelovers! Enjoy a rustic pate with a crusty baguette and some tangy cornichon pickles with your first glasses. A bistro classic of steak frites is our opinion of the perfect pairing for this bold and flavorful red. Less fancy but equally delicious and maybe just a tad more indulgent is short rib burgers topped with melted, aged cheddar, caramelized onions and spicy ketchup. If you haven't had one of these yet, brace yourself; you're in for a treat. If it's takeout night, make it lamb gyros. They'll bring out the spice nuances of the wine beautifully, and there's no cleanup afterwards. Even better: you can't touch this price on the web.

Winery: "Highly inspired by the response to our limited- release 50th Anniversary Maestro, we once again let artistic direction in the vineyard lead us to a unique blend in this second rendition of Maestro, where a crescendo of dark, juicy plum and cassis fruit, violet, cinnamon, and unsweetened cocoa linger on sumptuous sips full of vibrant flavor and plush tannins."
