Wired For Wine:   What have we here?  Yet another terrific opportunity to stock up on a fantastic summer sipper, that's what!  This Bodegas Guelbenza Ribera del Queiles Red from Spain will make you wish those warm nights on the horizon will never end.  At this price, you can mix up a deliciously fruity red sangria as well as filling your glasses straight...  Top off your glasses and enjoy this Spanish red with bowls of sweet and spicy bacon and nuts placed strategically around the room/deck/patio.  The refreshing red berries, whisper of spice, hit of acidity and long, clean finish of this Ribera del Queiles make it a great partner for beef, lamb, duck, grilled pork and hearty chicken dishes.  We love it with chicken empanadas with chorizo, raisins, and olives.  The fruit and lovely acidity are great with pulled pork sandwiches on toasted brioche buns with pickled tomatoes on the side.  No se detenga!  Another wonderful classically Spanish dish for this supple Guelbenzu is a Majorcan lamb and sobrasado (sausage) pie.  It will awaken the gentle spice in the wine.  Clear the dishes and refill everyone's glasses after you bring out a platter of Cashel blue cheese, water crackers, and lavender honey to drizzle over it all.  Sounds like FUN to us...
