Robert Parker, Jr. - The Wine Advocate: "An outstanding wine of exceptional complexity and character.  The Provencal-styled 2007 Rose is medium pink with bright aromas of strawberry and raspberry. It has a velvety texture, intense flavors, excellent concentration and a lengthy finish. It would do very well on a Thanksgiving table.  Turkey Flat Vineyards has been owned by the Schulz family since 1865. Wine Maker Notes:  "Our Rose? is still drier than most and displays complexity and balance difficult to find.   The 2007 Rose? is, as in previous years, a complex blend of Grenache, Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Dolcetto. Each of these varieties adds its own individual characteristic to the wine.   The colour is rose petal pink with panoply of red fruit flavours such as raspberries, cherries and leafy red and black currants. Fresh and vibrant with an ever so slight 'spritz' on the palate from naturally retained CO2."

Wired Notes:  It's that time of year for a great, chilled Rose on a warm summer evening.  You can't go wrong with this one.  Enjoy.
