Straight from the heart of Tuscany we have the Ciacci Piccolomini d'Aragona Brunello di Montalcino. It will make your taste buds sing and get your creative culinary juices flowing. Give it a little more time in the bottle and then we recommend opening it with a pork loin stuffed with porcini mushrooms, dried apples, onion, kale and ground pork, all beautifully wrapped with prosciutto, with a porcini jus sauce. It's going to be heavenly.

Robert Parker, Jr.'s Wine Advocate: "Ciacci Piccolomini d'Aragona boasts its unique style that is undoubtedly shaped by the very special microclimate nestled on the backside of the Castelnuovo dell'Abate hill where this estate is located, with panoramic views of Monte Amiata and the rolling hills of Tuscany at its southern flank. I've seen the sunset from this property, and these grapes are kissed by those last golden rays of the day. I am struck by the warmth of personality on offer by this exciting range of new releases. This terrain is wild and unexplored, off the proverbial beaten path, both figuratively and literally.

The 2016 Brunello di Montalcino shows bold cherry, spice, crushed stone and balsam herb that come together in seamless fashion. This estate has honed a unique style that becomes a common theme traced to each new vintage. I'd describe it as delicate but also succulent with a rich and almost pulpy quality of fruit. The wine is fueled by the golden light that hits this part of Tuscany in those last hours of the day. Here is a wine that shows spirit of place. Drink date: 2024-2040." Nov 2020

Winery: "The aromas are intense, fruit-forward, spicy and floral with hints of red berry fruits enriched by delicate notes of baking spices. Warm, soft, and very well balanced on the palate; well structured with soft tannins and long aftertaste.

Our Brunello comes as a selection from our vineyards ranging from 240 to 360 meters above sea level. The wine is fermented in stainless steel and concrete vats before moving to Slavonian oak barrels for aging at least 24 months. We have held this wine to a perfect time for release now over 4 years past the harvest. This is a vintage that will be incredible for aging in the cellar for years to come."
