Chateau des Bormettes L'Argentiere Cotes de Provence Rose has bright fruit and a smooth mouthfeel which will make you want to fill your glasses over and over again. And, it goes with everything from a Cobb salad to fried chicken or shrimp tacos. Whip up a fresh guacamole to go with your first glasses; you won't want to stop once you get started!
Robert Parker, Jr.'s Wine Advocate: "The 2020 Cotes de Provence Rose l'Argentiere is a blend of 53% Cinsault, 33% Grenache and 14% Syrah, all fermented in concrete. Pale salmon in hue, with coppery inflections, it delivers scents of crushed stone, cantaloupe, redcurrants and ripe citrus on the nose. Medium-bodied and silky-textured, it's plump and succulent in the mouth, then closes on a note of stony restraint." Jul 2021
Winery: "The robe is deep pink. The nose blends red fruits with stone fruits, with a hint of citrus. It develops apricot, floral and minerality notes. The wine is supple, fleshy but still dry, with distinctive iodine flavour. Serve it between 50 to 54 degrees Fahrenheit, from the aperitif to the cheese, with tapas, or to pair grilled fish or meat, pizzas and Asian food."
