Salem Wine Co. Chardonnay 2018
Robert Parker, Jr's Wine Advocate: "The 2018 Salem Wine Co. Chardonnay has a nose of elderflower, pear, baker’s yeast and lemongrass with touches of beeswax. The palate is medium-bodied with broad, savory flavors, bright freshness and a long, flavorful finish. This is made from younger vines a few hundred feet away from the older vines in Seven Springs vineyard, planted with a slight south-facing exposition." Oct 2020
Winery: "A historically dry vintage, the 2018 Salem Wine Co. Chardonnay is rich in both concentration and texture. Notes of toasted almond skin mix with rich, brûléed citrus notes to form a compelling aromatic profile. The wine’s signature is its surprisingly rich mid-palate that is deftly counterbalanced with a bright clean finish."
