Hedges C.M.S. 2017
James Suckling: "Redcurrants with iron and hints of rust on the palate. It’s medium-to-full-bodied with chewy yet round tannins and a savory finish. 69% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 11% Syrah. Drink or hold." Jun 2020
Winery: "Gorgeous medium garnet red. Blueberries, crushed olives and earth are forefront on the nose with a very subtle oak cigar box complexity. The mouthfeel is soft, with a pencil lead angularity, reminiscent of classic claret styling. Flavors of cherry, earth, blue fruits are framed by a tension of natural acidity. A nice weight to the mouth.
Perfect to enjoy with many types of cuisines."
