    Red-ruby. Plum and tobacco on the nose and palate. Big Old World with a truffley nuance and an amazing peppery acidity to frame and carry the red fruit flavors.

    We're thinking meaty hors d'ouevres with this Achaval-Ferrer Cabernet Sauvignon. And don't worry about serving a crowd; the price of this tasty Cab won't strain the purse strings. Ever had bacon cheeseburger dip with corn chip scoops? Life would be better if you had. Sausage stuffed mushrooms is another winner with the earthy side of this Achaval-Ferrer, as is chicken liver pate with thin toasts. Our last but certainly not least idea: pastrami sliders with whole grain mustard. Who needs entrees??

The finish is subtle and persistent, with refined dusty tannins. Serving temperature between 61-64 degrees. We strongly recommend decanting this wine at least an hour before drinking.

    An accurate reflection of its variety, Cabernet Mendoza delivers a sharp and direct message where the fruit overcomes the mineral nuances. Originating from small patches of vineyards located in the first area in Mendoza, this wine that has very little production highlights a juicy texture filled with black and red fruitiness. Far from abstractions it allows for a lovely walk toward that of pleasure."
