"The intoxicating aromatics bring you back to the glass for more. This fruity and beautifully structured Pinot Noir is a simply remarkable effort" ~ International Wine Report

Ever since this wine from Big Farm Table made #11 on Wine Spectator's 2015 Top 100, this Pinot Noir has taken off. It's got it all: ripe red and tropical fruit, smoke and spice notes, exotic floral nuances, and a long, lasting finish of bright, balancing acidity. What's not to like?? Fill those glasses and enjoy them with char siu pork sliders on brioche buns. It's a heavenly combo. A duck ragu tossed with pappardelle will  bring out the smokey, earthy side of this Oregon Pinot. If you're feeling fancy, make it salmon en croute (in a pastry crust) with a wild mushroom sauce.  Roast a chicken over shallots and fennel until it's browned and crisp-skinned for an easy meal of comfort food. This Big Table Farm Pinot is a wonderfully versatile wine when it comes to pairing.

International Wine Report: "The 2015 Willamette Valley Pinot Noir features two of the Big Table Farm pigs, 'Kirby' and ‘Pickle.’ Sourced from eight different sites for Pinot Noir and needing some air contact to begin to show their full aromatic expression, the wine is eventually awakened with aromatics of ripe guava, strawberries, red cherries, pomegranate seed and fennel along with loganberry accents. The intoxicating aromatics bring you back to the glass for more. On the palate the wine is currently showing ripe flavors of red cherry, loganberry, pomegranate seed, Mandarin orange rind and suggestions of baking spices. This fruity and beautifully structured Pinot Noir is a simply remarkable effort by Big Table Farm and winemaker Brian Marcy. (Best 2017-2027)" Apr 2017

:  Designated Editors' Choice. "Outgoing and easy to like, this brings tart and juicy raspberry and pomegranate fruit front and center. Details pile on: hibiscus tea and rosewater in particular. It's stylish through and through, with a long clean finish." Aug 2017

Wine Spectator: "Bright and polished, with expressive black cherry and orange zest aromas and tightly focused, layered raspberry and stony mineral flavors that finish with vibrant acidity. Drink now through 2021. 2,393 cases made." Sept 2017

Winery:  "This wine is very expressive of smoky espresso, cacao, raspberry, pomegranate, rose petals, and graham cracker. The fruit on the palate is juicy in a refreshing kind of way with playful dusty tannins. There is an easiness to the way the wine drinks that is soothing and comfortable like the way your favorite old pair of leather boots feel on your feet."
