    We love obsessive winemakers like Alain Brumont. He lives and breathes his craft, and surrounds himself with extremely talented people like Fabrice Dubosc, formerly of Chateau Margaux. Enough said there. See below if you need more kudos. The Brumont Chateau Bouscasse Madiran is a phenomenal wine with a deliciously full body, hearty fruit and lovely woodsy earthiness and a smidgin of spice. We're channeling fancy today, so suggest duck breast with toasted hazelnuts and a foie gras sauce. Medallions of bison with a coffee sauce will knit well with the earthy side of this French red. We can't seem to tear ourselves away from the duck, so we think cassoulet with lamb and duck would be delectable too. Et vous winelovers?
