"The 2018 Cotes de Provence Rose l'Argentiere was a standout." ~ Robert Parker, Jr.'s Wine Advocate

What better way to ring in spring than this Chateaudes Bormettes L'Argentiere Cotes de Provence Rose?? It's got bright fruit and a smooth mouthfeel which will make you want to fill your glass more than once. And, it goes with everything from a Cobb salad to fried chicken or shrimp tacos. Whip up a fresh guacamole to go with your first glasses; you won't want to stop once you get started!

Robert Parker, Jr.'s Wine Advocate: "Just as in last year's tasting of 2017s, the 2018 Cotes de Provence Rose l'Argentiere was a standout. Hints of struck flint accent cherry, melon and citrus notes in this medium-bodied, concentrated rosé. Silky in texture, it's also long, with spicy echoes of star anise lingering on the finish. Drink now." Apr 2019

Winery:  "The robe is deep pink. The nose blends red fruits with stone fruits, with a hint of citrus. It develops apricot, floral and minerality notes. The wine is supple, fleshy but still dry, with distinctive iodine flavour. Serve it between 50 to 54 degrees Fahrenheit, from the aperitif to the cheese, with tapas, or to pair grilled fish or meat, pizzas and Asian food.

The harvest is mainly processed at night in order to preserve the aromatic potential and to minimise the use of sulphur. The blend is dominated by free-run juice from Grenache and Rolle with skin maceration, completed by Cinsault and Syrah from direct pressing. Fermentation takes places in concrete tank."
