Domaines Ott was founded in 1912 by Alsatian engineer Marcel Ott. Today, the wineries are owned and managed by Champagne Louis Roederer, producing some of the world’s most prestigious wines. The Domainees Ott Clos Mireille Cotes de Provence Rose benefits from the wonderful climate and proximity to the Mediterranean sea, delivering a bright, fruity, minerally and absolutely unforgettable Provencal Rose. The only thing you could do wrong with it is to not get enough. A votre sante winelovers!

Clos Mireille is an ancient terrain distinguished for its combination of schists and clays, and by an absence of limestone. The vineyard’s proximity to the sea explains the inimitable character of the wines produced at Clos Mireille. The microclimate and sea spray create the ideal conditions for the production of extremely rare wines. Clos Mireille has 124 acres of planted vineyards.

Robert Parker, Jr.'s Wine Advocate: "The archetypal pale Mediterranean rosé, the 2017 Cotes de Provence Rose Clos Mireille boasts briny aromas evocative of the sea, with pink grapefruit, cherry and lime notes. A blend of Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah, it's medium-bodied but feels lighter, with a clean, refreshing finish that includes hints of wet stones, peach and citrus. It's a terrific rosé for drinking this summer (or anytime)." Jun 2018

Antonio Galloni's Vinous: "An intensely perfumed bouquet evokes fresh red berries, orange zest, pungent flowers and dusty minerals that expand with air. Sappy and light on its feet, offering mineral-tinged strawberry, blood orange and honeysuckle flavors. Dry, focused and tightly wound, showing superb closing power and lingering florality. Drink 2018-2023." Jun 2018

James Suckling: "Floral and mineral aromas are really enticing with melon and apple undertones. Medium body, a dense center palate and a vivid finish. Lots of ash, pumice and stones in the aftertaste. Drink now." Jun 2018

Winery: "The wine is a very pale pink highlighted, depending on the vintage, with golden, orange and even vermilion tints. Its bouquet reveals fresh fruit (mango, melon) punctuated with lemony notes. On the palate, its freshness develops through citrus aromas around a resolutely mineral core before ending with a subtly persistent finish.

A bright personality, this wine is a reflection of its terroir on the coast facing the Mediterranean, a land of schists completely free of limestone. Working with the ocean spray, the dry hillside air and generous sunshine, the salty soil helps shape the singular, elegant character of a young vineyard with a passionate heart."
