"Beautifully layered on the palate, with full-bodied richness, solid mid-palate depth and a touch of graphite on the finish, this is a sensational Washington state Cabernet Sauvignon that will have 20-25 years of longevity." ~ Robert Parker, Jr,'s Wine Advocate

Master Sommelier Greg Harrington not only has the touch for curating and building wine collections, he's got the magic touch when it comes to making great wines. He fell in love with the wines and terroir of Washington state in 2004 and dove right in, creating Gramercy Cellars in 2005. The rave reviews have been rolling in ever since. The Gramercy Cellars Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is not to be missed, especially as the holiday season is nigh...

Robert Parker, Jr.'s Wine Advocate: "Checking in as a rough blend of 95% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Cabernet Franc and a splash of Petit Verdot, the inky colored 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon offers classic Cabernet notes of black currants, lead pencil shavings, tobacco leaf and damp earth. Beautifully layered on the palate, with full-bodied richness, solid mid-palate depth and a touch of graphite on the finish, this is a sensational Washington state Cabernet Sauvignon that will have 20-25 years of longevity." About Gramercy Cellars: "Master Sommelier Greg Harrington spent his career overseeing some of the most prestigious wine programs in the country, working for top restaurants and chefs such as Joyce Goldstein, Emeril Lagasse, Wolfgang Puck, and Stephen Hanson. Since passing the exam at 26 years old (the youngest person ever at the time) he couldn’t get the idea of making wine out of his head. In 2004 he attended an event featuring the wines of Walla Walla and was immediately hooked. He worked harvest that fall and in 2005, launched his own winery, Gramercy Cellars to make Rhône and Bordeaux based wines in Washington State.

The resulting wines are restrained, balanced, and complex. They age very well but also possess enough fruit to be rewarding when young. Gramercy Cellars was founded in the hope of capturing what first caught Greg’s attention - the distinctive voice of Washington wines - and with each vintage he further proves that it has been a success."
