The Tablelands Pinot Noir could be a lovely addition to your summer food and wine lineup. It's got beautiful red fruit, hints of warm spice and dried flowers, and then, a bit of earthiness emerges. Here's what we would do:
-Charcuterie sliders with aged cheddar, caramelized onions, and chipotle mayo to start.
-Roasted pork loin over rice cooked with Pinot-braised dried cherries and marcona almonds.
-Grilled salmon drizzled with a creamy tarragon sauce.
-Spaghetti with homemade pesto and lots of freshly grated Parmesan.
    Any questions?

Wine Spectator:  "Fresh cranberry and pomegranate flavors are bold and expressive, with plenty of elegance and style. Chai tea, dried violet and nutmeg notes linger on the velvety finish. Drink now through 2027. 800 cases made."Jul 2017

Winery:  "Some wines show many faces and so is true for this wonderful Pinot Noir. In its youth, the wine is exhilaratingly fresh with in nite facets of crimson rhubarb, garnet cranberry and bright hibiscus. With age the wine reveals another personality all together. Earthier notes emerge in the background, bringing to mind the smell of cool black soil. However, taking center stage is a soulful bouquet of dried rose, freshly brewed chicory coffee and warm slices of toasted bread slathered in wild cherry preserves. Overall the experience is as if your mouth has been magically transported to the kitchen of some wonderfully rustic farmhouse on an autumn morning. If there ever was a “Breakfast Pinot” this would be it!"
