Atemporal means "timeless". Not a bad word for this delicious Argentine red. It brings rich, dark fruit and warm spices to the table which make it an ideal pairing with your favorite bbq'd meats. Meaty and/or tomatoey pizza is another good pairing choice. If you'd like to play up the tannins, make it a grill night and do some lamb lollipop chops. At this price, you can have a bottle or two waiting in the wings. ¡Salud winelovers!
James Suckling: "Blackberries, blueberries and hints of rose stem undertones. Medium to full body. Firm tannins with freshness and energy. A blend of Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot. Needs time to soften. Try after 2022 and onwards. " Apr 2020
Winery: "In nose, complex due to its three vines. Notes of violet, pepper, cinnamon and licorice. In mouth, it is a balanced combination: The silkiness of the Malbec, the structure and power of the Cabernet Sauvignon, and the intensity of the Petit Verdot that integrates this assemblage. A complex and persistent wine."
