Wine Enthusiast: "Produced from old vines, this is a beautiful wine. It has great structure, minerality and concentration along with a full-bodied richness that is developing well. Combined with the ripe yellow fruits, they give an opulent wine that will age for several years. Drink from 2018." Oct 2015

Vinous: " Medium lemon-yellow. The nose shows a creamy ripeness to the aromas of stone fruits, hazelnut and caraway seed. Fatter and sweeter than the "regular" Le Clos but also firmly structured and quite shy today. Finishes with a more phenolic, tannic quality. Boasts a lovely fine-grained texture but this is not at all forthcoming today." Dec 2015

Winery: "The Pouilly-Fuissé Vieilles Vignes is an incredible rich wine and is aged 100% in new oak. The wine is vinified at the new state-of-the-art winery and then aged for a minimum of 12 months in the cellars beneath the château.

Blended from 10 plots of vines, all over 30 years of age, with most planted in 1929, this is Château Fuisse’s ultimate cuvee, and the one intended to have the most longevity. It’s incredibly rich and with subtle honey accents and notes of grilled nuts balanced by fresh peach and melon flavors. Long on the finish."
