From the world-renowned house of Huet, we have the Domaine Huet Le Haut-Lieu Vouvray, largely considered to be the pre-eminent producer of Vouvray. Don't miss out winelovers.
Le Haut-Lieu, the original Huët vineyard, is nearly 9 hectares. It has the richest soils of the domaine’s three crus—a deep limestone-clay—and the wines are generally the estate’s most approachable.
Wine Spectator: "This broad, striking white is elegant and rich with complexity, featuring green melon, yellow fig, ginger and verbena notes, underscored with heather, stone, flint and spice details. Offers great energy and tension, showcasing expert craftsmanship. Drink now through 2036." Oct 2021
Winery: "One can taste the fruity clay of the Haut-Lieu, the chiseled mineral flint of the Mont and the roundness of limestone Clos du Bourg."
Importer: "Huet is THE estate of Vouvray. If I had to pick only one white wine producer in our entire book it would be Huet."
