Antoni Galloni's Vinous: ""Forman's 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon is fabulous. Rich and beautifully layered in the glass, the 2017 has gorgeous depth and a touch of exoticism that is so appealing. Ripe red berry fruit, floral overtones and a touch of spice are all laced together. Just bottled, the 2017 is super impressive, even in the early going. This is an especially racy style for Ric Forman, and yet he clearly got every ounce of potential out of the year. Drinking window: 2024-2042." Jan 2020
Winery: "I love the very warm earthy Cabernet tones – is this from Bordeaux? Layer upon layer open as the wine aerates. Tobacco and ripe berry jam aromas blend so beautifully with a subtle vanilla-smoky oak background. One could go on and on as there are so many agreeable facets to ponder and enjoy. Wow! The flavors to do not disappoint either. The multi-faceted aromas are echoed in the flavor and are surrounded with a mouth filling richness of ultra-fine and ripe phenolics with a delicious bold finish. It’s hard not love this one!"
Credo: "Influenced early on by the wines and winemaking practices of the Bordeaux region of France, I have consistently sought a similar perfection for the wines of Forman Vineyard. If I had to choose two words which embody the character of Forman Vineyard wines they would be finesse and elegance." ~ Ric Forman, Winemaker
