Wine Enthusiast: "Offering outstanding value, this wine contains nearly one quarter of Merlot, helping to soften and broaden the palate. Cherry candy, clove and black pepper adorn a balanced texture complemented by dried herb and cedar, finishing dry and immensely approachable." Sept 2021

WineryThe 2019 growing season for Cabernet Sauvignon throughout our vineyards began slightly later than normal, due to generous rainfall in February throughout much of the state. Cooler spring and summer temperatures allowed the fruit to ripen gradually, resulting in new wines across the board that showed excellent fruit character, fresh acidity, and a good natural balance.

Coordination between winery and vineyard allowed us to harvest, sort and process ripe Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot under excellent conditions. Winemaking, oak aging, and blending were designed to enhance the wine's natural ability.

Garnet in color, with a youthful violet hue, this 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon opens on the nose with black cherry and blackcurrant aromas. The wine is immediately warm and inviting on the palate, with ripe, briary blackberry and vanilla flavors. Notes of mocha and sweet oak complement the refined tannins of this generous, full-throttled Cabernet throughout its long finish.
