King Estate Pinot Gris 2019
92/100 Points, Wine Enthusiast
King Estate's flagship wine, the Willamette Valley Pinot Gris reflects an excellence recognized worldwide. Made with the best selection of grapes each year, the wine was sourced from King Estate’s certified Biodynamic and organic vineyard as well as a handful of like-minded sustainably farmed vineyards throughout the Willamette Valley.
The wine impresses from the start with round, juicy white fruit followed by bright acidity that carries through the mid-palate, showcasing more succulent fruit flavors of peach, pear, pineapple and lime with honey and jasmine accents. Softer acidity on the finish gives the wine a freshness that lingers.
Wine Enthusiast: "From a certified biodynamic vineyard, this white offers mouth coating flavors of apple, peach and grapefruit brightened by sappy acidity. The vivid freshness and exceptional length of this wine make it a good match for poultry, pork, pasta salads and seafood. Editors’ Choice."
James Suckling: "Ripe peaches, sliced apples, pears and lemon zest on the nose. It’s medium-to full-bodied, creamy and fruity. Rounded, weighty finish. Drink now."
