Limerick Lane Russian River Valley Zinfandel 2016
Antonio Galloni's Vinous: "The 2016 Zinfandel Limerick Lane Vineyard captures a very intriguing stylistic middle ground, with plenty of the dense, powerful fruit this site is famous for, but also a good bit of finesse as well. Dark and expansive, the 2016 is a wine of notable intensity. Limerick Lane sits on the border of Dry Creek and Russian River, which is one of the reasons the wines are so intriguing. Bedrock sources fruit from the 1910 block, where the oldest vines on the estate are found. Drink 2022-2036." Apr 2018
Robert Parker, Jr. on the Winery: "If you haven’t caught on to the magic that is emerging from Limerick Lane, it’s about time."
Winery: "Our tiny block of 1910-planted Zinfandel yielded a scant 1.5 tons in 2016, meaning that there are less than 1000 bottles of this wine to go around. Though meager in output this vineyard created a gorgeous, multi-faceted, wine that is true to the amazing site where it is grown. One of my favorite wines we have made from this all-star site. "
