Chateau Minuty is the #1 selling Rose house in Europe and one of only 18 Cru Classé in the Cotes de Provence that specialises in Rose (90% of production).
Minuty crafts wines in the classic Provence style primarily using Grenache grapes. Sooooooo, belly up to the bruschetta bar with this
archetypal Provencal Rose, M. de Minuty Cotes de Provence Rose. You'll want plenty of toasted bread slices, some pesto, roasted tomatoes, salumi, your
favorite cheeses, toasted pignolis and whatever else sounds good to you. The subtle floral and fruit notes of the wine, combined with its lovely acidity
and dryness make it a very well-rounded companion with food. It's perfect for sushi and sashimi. Poached salmon with a sunflower-dill pesto works beautifully.
Grilled cheese with brie, asparagus and crispy prosciutto is less formal but no less delicious. Not feeling the meat? How about smoked gouda and mushroom
quesedillas topped with sour cream and cilantro.
C'est incroyable, n'est-ce pas winelovers?
Winery: "Established in 1936, Chateau Minuty remains the Provencal Rose gold-standard, continuing a remarkable 20 years of growth as the
#1 Rose throughout Europe. Once again the 20+ year-old vines, farmed without the use of pesticides or herbicides, experienced a gloriously hot, sunny
growing season. Frost in late April and less than half the rainfall throughout the season, produced smaller berries which in-turn yielded less wine! Hand
harvesting began mid-August and lasted 2 weeks, as the blocks were picked at perfect ripeness. The tiny berries were absolutely pristine, with an acidity
held vibrant by the vineyards’ proximity to the cooling bay of St. Tropez.
This vibrant, dry Rose reveals fresh, ripe peaches and candied orange aromas that lead into a plush palate with soft acidity and featherweight richness."
Importer: "This rosé is quintessential of the local style. Pale honeysuckle pink, and offering a clean nose of citrus fruit, offset
by subtle floral and candied notes. Fresh acidity makes for an incisive and lively palate, with a rounded feel. Partner with the delicate flavours of fresh
shellfish, or with a mozzarella and sun-ripened tomato salad."
