Martinelli Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir 2018
Quantity:
We think that this Martinelli Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir is the stuff dreams are made of. Culinary dreams, that is. It boasts gorgeous fruit, lovely, subtle spice, and incredibly food-friendly earthiness. Hit a home run with your first glasses and a platter of Peking duck pancakess with plum sauce and thinly julienned scallions and cucumbers. The plum sauce will engage beautifully with the spice notes in the wine. Lemon-garlic-rosemary-roasted chicken is a logical next step. Spaghetti with sweet Italian sausage, grape tomatoes, shallots and garlic can work well too. Or, grill up some salmon and place it on a bed of pesto orzo and then drizzle it with a tomato vinaigrette. Sweet dreams winelovers!
Winery: "The 2018 Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir has aromas of black cherry, sweet herbs, and star anise, with a well-focused brightness. The palate entry is firm cherry and red plum with a silky overlay of fresh berry, spice, and notes of dark blue fruit in the finish. Our Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir has a nose of fine red cherry and herb notes with blueberry and red plum. The palate is firm, with hints of graphite and mouth-coating red cherry, spice, and acidity."
