Temps are inching up around here, so we've been partaking of this Sean Minor 4B Chardonnay with gusto. It's got gorgeous light stone fruit and citrus notes, subtle butteriness and minerality, and, to make it extra food-friendly, the perfect amount of acidity. Get your mis en place and fry up some cornmeal-crusted oysters with a lemon aioli on the side. For an entree, why not go old school and poach salmon filets to be served warm or room temperature, drizzled with a quick hollandaise, next to sauteed asparagus? If you're craving something a little more exotic, make it a mild, buttery chiken makhani curry over fluffy jasmine rice. Pair them with the 4B for the win!
Winery: "Our Central Coast Chardonnay displays aromas of white peach, pears and tropical nuances with subtle notes of butter. On the entry, pear, pineapple and green apple flavors are framed by nice acidity which integrates well with the medium body mouthfeel. Those same fruit flavors evolve into a hint of minerality that adds complexity to the lengthy finish."
