Talley Vineyards Bishop's Peak Pinot Noir 2017

Made by the folks at famed Talley Vineyards, the Bishop's Peak Pinot Noir is worth a try. Rich, lush red fruit and berries, balancing earthy and floral notes, and soft tannins make it a must with food as well as on its own. Enjoy your first glasses with a salad of roasted beets with marcona almonds and orange slices. The combination is divine. Seared duck breast with poached cherries and a spiced duck glaze will deliver the wow factor in spades. A little simpler but equally delicious is sauteed salmon finished with a brown butter-caper sauce. And if you're doing takeout, make it char siu pork with a side of steamed baby bok choy with oyster sauce. Talley ho winelovers!
Winery: "Produced entirely from Pinot Noir grapes grown in Coastal San Luis Obispo County, combining both purchased and estate grown fruit, this wine is bottled before the next harvest to preserve the charm and fresh red fruit flavors that distinguish the varietal.
Aromas of Bing Cherries, Dried Cranberry and Allspice and Raspberry, Mesquite and Bay Leaf on the palate."
