Textbook Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2018
The Textbook Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is made by Jonathan Pey, whose prestigious wine career saw him working with the likes of Domaine Louis Jadot, Penfolds, and Robert Mondavi Vineyards. If that isn't enough to get you running for the shopping cart, this delicious Napa Valley Cab is under $29. You don't see that sentence often... We tried the Textbook over the holiday weekend and were stunned by its value. It delivers a beautifully luscious mouthful of wine that will pair perfectly with everything from steak on the grill to spaghetti and meatballs. We had a starter of silky chicken liver mousse with toast points and ripe figs on the side, and it was a dreamy combination. This Texbook has the ability to work with serious meats, roasted, grilled or seared, barbecue, tomato-based pasta dishes and so much more. This bottle is the Textbook example of what we would buy by the case. Cheers winelovers!
