Vietti Barbera di Asti Tre Vigne 2019
91/100 Points, Robert Parker Jr.
Robert Parker, Jr's Wine Advocate: "The Vietti 2019 Barbera d'Asti Tre Vigne is a bright and informal red wine made from some of the same vineyard sites that provide fruit for the La Cerna. This more accessible expression shows lots of dark cherry and blackberry that just sits there, pretty in the glass. There is a soft sweetness or creaminess to the fruit that ultimately caresses the palate. Drink date: 2021-2025." Jun 2021
Winery: "Ruby color with ripe red cherry aromas and vanilla. With hints of violets on the palate, it shows bright acidity, soft tannins with good integration of oak, good complexity, and a lingering cherry finish.
Pairs well with antipasti, rich salads, grilled seasoned vegetables, hearty soups/stews, pasta or with breaded veal, pork, chicken with light sauces."
