James Suckling:  "Fabulous aromas of crushed lemons, stones, yogurt, flan and cooked apples follow through to a full body, round and rich fruit and a flavorful finish.  Dense and so long.  Fantastic potential."  Apr 2017

Robert Parker, Jr's Wine Advocate:  "The 2015 Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru from Faiveley's own holdings opens in the glass with notes of green orchard fruit, lime, pastry cream and vanilla pod, lavishly framed by new oak.  On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, glossy and concentrated, with chewy extract and a deep, layered mid-palate, its acids bright and succulent and its finish long. While I'd have appreciated a less overt application of new oak, the wine's substance is as impressive as its equilibrium, so there's much to admire here."  Apr 2018

Allen Meadows, Burghound:  "Reduction presently dominates the underlying fruit though it appears to be ripe.  There is both more volume and more power to the medium weight plus flavors that retain good precision on the relatively powerful and solidly persistent finish.  This is not exactly classic in style but its less 2015 in character than most wines from the vintage."

Vinous:  "Bright light yellow. Aromas and flavors of lemon, lime, white peach and ethereal brown spices.  The spicy quality carries through on the brisk, nicely delineated palate, where solid dry extract energizes the wine without bringing any heaviness.  This is carrying a relatively high 4.6 grams per liter of acidity, with a pH of 3.3. Finishes spicy and long.  (The Chassagne-Montrachet Morgeot was not yet finished with its secondary fermentation.)."  Sep 2016

Winery:  "This wine's very scented nose is not lacking in character or roundness.  We recognize the balance and harmonious finish of the great white wines of Burgundy.  With white fruit and citrus notes, it will evolve with the years and has great cellaring potential."
