Brighten your day with this Aveleda Solos de Granito Alvarinho. It's got great chops, beautiful minerality and zingy acidity, and delicious citrus and white fruit too. No shrinking violets here... Fill your glasses to go with grilled or fried fish tacos with pickled onions, a generous dollop of guacamole, and your favorite taco sauce. Mussels steamed in white wine, garlic and fennel will delight too. Make sure you've got some crusty bread available to soak up the tasty broth! And if you've got some time on your hands, make it a smoked haddock and leek risotto. You will be so glad you did.

Wine Enthusiast: "This is one of a pair of wines that showcases different soil types and Alvarinho. From vines on granite soil, this wine is tightly textured, with
intense tangy white fruits and a strong, steely edge. The wine will be
better as it softens further and matures. Drink from 2022." OCT 2021

Winery: "Bright pale yellow hue, Aveleda Solos de Granito has an exuberant aromatic profile where citrus fruits, green apples and mineral notes are abundant. The mouth has a strong mineral attack, followed by a crisp acidity and aromas of ripe grapefruit and green peaches. With a vigorous structure, this Alvarinho varietal is concentrated, direct and straight to the point. Incredibly long finish. Pair with salmon with mango sauce, seafood curry, rich (Greek & Mediterranean) salads and soft cheeses."
